Responsibilities:

As an Automation Test Engineer at LTI Mindtree, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through effective test automation. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Webdriver IO and JavaScript to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
  2. Test Case Design: Collaborate with the testing team and stakeholders to create comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
  3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results, identifying and documenting defects as needed.
  4. Test Framework Enhancement: Enhance and optimize the existing test automation framework to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  5. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Log defects using bug tracking tools and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Test Data Management: Create and manage test data required for automated testing processes.
  7. Continuous Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration process for regular and reliable testing.
  8. Script Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain automated test scripts to keep them in sync with the evolving application features.
  9. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth testing process and efficient defect resolution.
  10. Performance and Security Testing: Contribute to performance and security testing efforts as required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
  2. Automation Testing Tools: Proficiency in Webdriver IO and JavaScript for test automation.
  3. Additional Skill: Familiarity with Python is a plus.
  4. Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  5. Shift Timing: Willingness to work in the shift time of 5 PM IST – 2:30 AM IST.
  6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective testing solutions.
  8. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test case design and execution.
  9. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
