Job Summary: As an Automation Test Engineer at Mindtree, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will primarily focus on Rest API Automation Testing using tools such as Postman, JavaScript, and Python. Additionally, you will work on Automated Web Browser App Testing using Selenium. We are seeking individuals who are technically proficient, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform Rest API Automation Testing using tools like Postman, JavaScript, and Python to verify the functionality, performance, and security of web services.
2. Conduct Automated Web Browser App Testing using Selenium to validate the web applications across different browsers and environments.
3. Utilize Ruby (min version: 3.0+) or Python (min version: 3.0) for test automation script development and maintenance.
4. Work on HTML, CSS, and Javascript to identify and resolve issues related to front-end functionality and user experience.
5. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
6. Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects in a timely manner to ensure timely bug fixes and software releases.
7. Maintain and enhance the existing automation test suite to keep it up-to-date with new features and changes in the application.
8. Integrate test automation with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to automation testing and implement them in the testing process.
10. Provide mentorship and support to junior team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience (3 to 8 years) in Rest API Automation Testing using Postman, JavaScript, and Python.
3. Hands-on experience in Automated Web Browser App Testing with Selenium.
4. Strong programming skills in Ruby (min version: 3.0+) or Python (min version: 3.0) for test automation.
5. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript for front-end testing and troubleshooting.
6. Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and automation.
7. Knowledge of any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
10. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
