Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Automation Test Engineer at Allegis Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your experience in Automation Testing or Java Development will be valuable in contributing to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and identify defects.
2. Test Scenarios and Test Cases: Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
3. Test Execution: Execute test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects, track them to resolution, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
4. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
5. Test Reporting: Document and communicate test results and findings to stakeholders effectively.
6. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation process and methodologies to enhance overall testing efficiency.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members, to ensure effective testing practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing or Java Development.
2. Familiarity with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
3. Proficiency in Java programming language for automation testing or application development.
4. Knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
7. Desire to return to the workforce after a career break of 6 months to 1 year.
