Position Overview: Oracle Bangalore is currently seeking skilled and motivated Automation QA professionals to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Automation QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Oracle’s cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests using Java Selenium and API Automation frameworks. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our product development and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of Oracle’s software products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members, to understand project requirements and test objectives.
  3. Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data that align with product specifications and user stories.
  4. Identify, document, and track defects in defect management tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to optimize test execution and reduce maintenance efforts.
  6. Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of existing product functionalities with each new release.
  7. Perform API testing to validate the integration and communication between different software components.
  8. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the overall improvement of software quality.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing and share knowledge within the QA team.
  10. Support the creation of automated test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. Proven experience as an Automation QA, with a strong focus on Java Selenium and API Automation.
  3. In-depth knowledge of automation testing frameworks and methodologies.
  4. Proficiency in programming with Java and scripting languages for automation purposes.
  5. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  10. Understanding of Agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices.
  11. Prior experience with Oracle products or database systems is a plus.
