Position: Guidewire Testers – Senior Associate
Location: Mumbai | Bangalore | Kolkata | Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.
- Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing, to validate the system’s performance.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing based on project needs and requirements.
- Identify, track, and document software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure their resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in Guidewire testing.
Requirements:
- Experience in Guidewire testing is mandatory.
- 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Guidewire applications.
- For Guidewire with Automation Testing:
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java or C# for test automation scripting.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
- For Guidewire with Manual Testing:
- Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of test management tools like HP ALM, Jira, or similar.
- Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of insurance domain concepts and processes is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in different locations (Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad) as per project requirements.
