Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions, maintaining high-quality standards in the testing process.
  2. Conduct research and innovation on QA tools, bringing new innovations to implementations, and improving testing processes.
  3. Collaborate with product managers to define clear business problems and corresponding metric definitions, communicate performance analysis, findings, and recommendations.
  4. Partner with Data Science, Frontend Engineering, and Web Design teams to collaborate and enhance the product solutions.
  5. Manage the complete Software Test Life Cycle, from test planning to test execution and defect tracking.
  6. Review user stories (requirements) and ensure a comprehensive understanding to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
  7. Expertise in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation.
  8. Experience in working on Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  9. Design, develop, and support frameworks for test automation, with a focus on Cypress for automation testing.
  10. Create test cases, estimate testing efforts, and execute functional testing and automation testing with Cypress.
  11. Prepare end test reports and other supporting documents to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  12. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of issues and assist in debugging defects to facilitate timely resolution.
  13. Mentor and guide junior QA resources as required to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Desired Skills:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in functional testing with expertise in automation testing using Cypress.
  2. Good to have experience in Performance Testing using JMeter.
  3. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure effective testing practices.
  4. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation.
  5. Experience in working with Agile methodologies and a strong analytical mindset to understand user stories and requirements.
  6. Expertise in creating test scenarios, test cases, and effort estimation for comprehensive test coverage.
  7. Thorough understanding of the Software Test Life Cycle, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
  8. Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and assist in debugging defects for timely resolution.
  9. Able to mentor and guide junior QA resources, promoting a collaborative and learning-driven work environment.
