As an ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of data transformation processes within our projects. If you have a strong background in ETL/Data testing, possess a deep understanding of SQL, and have experience with Python scripting, we want to hear from you.

- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Certifications in testing or relevant technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and data integration needs.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for ETL processes to validate data accuracy, completeness, and performance.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) testing on large datasets.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform data reconciliations.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Python to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Identify and document defects, issues, and improvements in the ETL processes.
- Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve testing-related issues.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and collaborate on test strategy and planning.
- Participate in test case reviews and contribute to test data preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL/Data testing, with a proven track record of testing large-scale data integration projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.
- Experience with Python scripting for test automation.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
