Job Description:

Hexaware Technology Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced ETL Tester to join our dynamic team. As an ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our data processes. Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
2. SQL Expertise: Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
3. ETL Tools: Utilize your knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or others to validate data transformations.
4. Test Data Management: Work with Test Data Management tools like GenRocket to generate and manage test data effectively.
5. Model-Based Testing: Apply Model-Based Testing (MBT) techniques to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
6. Test/Defect Management: Utilize expertise in test and defect management tools to track and report testing progress and issues.
7. Agile/Scrum: Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
8. Unix/Linux Commands: Demonstrate a good understanding of Unix/Linux commands for data validation and testing purposes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 3.6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in database and ETL testing.
• SQL Skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or similar platforms.
• Test Data Management: Knowledge of Test Data Management tools, including GenRocket or equivalent.
• Model-Based Testing: Experience or understanding of Model-Based Testing (MBT) concepts.
• Test/Defect Management Tools: Expertise in using test and defect management tools to track and manage testing activities.
• Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and processes.
• Unix/Linux: Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands for data-related tasks.
