Position: ETL Tester
Location: Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai
We are currently hiring for the position of ETL Tester. If you have 5-8 years of experience in ETL testing, with proficiency in any ETL tool and TestNG, we invite you to apply. Big data experience is not mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ETL testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of data transformations and loading processes.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for ETL processes.
- Utilize any ETL tool, such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend, for testing purposes.
- Validate data mappings, transformations, and data integration processes.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on ETL workflows.
- Utilize TestNG for test execution and reporting.
- Document defects using appropriate defect tracking tools and methodologies.
- Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in ETL testing.
- Proficiency in any ETL tool, such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
- Experience with TestNG for test execution and reporting.
- Familiarity with the ETL process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Chennai.
