Roles & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to Perform Manual Testing & Scripting the test cases into Automation of UI & Mobile Native apps in the areas of Verification and Validation.
▪ Ownership of all assigned tasks
▪ Write test cases & scenarios based on the features to test
▪ Ability to detect the defects & identify the steps to reproduce them
▪ Find & File defects in defect tracking tool
▪ Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Project team
▪ Perform manual testing & script automation steps on the test cases written
▪ Collaborate with people across roles to understand the domain and work towards building the right solution
▪ Adopt an open mindset for learning new things and working in new roles
▪ Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback
Requirements
▪ Knowledge of Software Development & Testing Life Cycles
▪ Knowledge of Native/Hybrid Mobile apps development
▪ Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle.
▪ Knowledge of Waterfall & Agile Models
▪ Good Manual Testing skills
▪ Experience in mobile automation testing
▪ Working experience of Automation with Selenium Webdriver using Java/Javascript
▪ Experience of API automation
▪ Knowledge of and/or willingness to work within Scrum Methodology
▪ An individual who thrives in a demanding environment that imposes new challenges frequently.
▪ Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them to solving tough problems.
