Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Pune, India

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts, to understand software requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python, Javascript, or Java.
- Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects, ensuring the highest level of software quality.
- Continuously improve and enhance the existing automation framework, incorporating new technologies and best practices.
- Participate in code and design reviews to provide valuable input from a quality perspective.
- Work closely with the development team to promote the importance of automated testing and assist in the adoption of test automation tools and practices.
- Collaborate with QA team members to develop and implement effective testing strategies and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved and retested in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle by suggesting process enhancements and quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Javascript, or Java, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Good understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
