Best Mobile For YouRoles & Responsibilities: As an Automation Tester at Infogain, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation and manual testing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Bringing 4-6 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Java and working with one or more automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, and JMeter.
- Having hands-on experience in postman, including creating collections, managing requests, writing tests for assertions using JavaScript.
- Optionally, knowledge of running postman collections using Newman.
- Conducting API testing, including different HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH), and understanding API request and response.
- Collaborating effectively in Agile teams to drive testing efforts.
- Utilizing Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Conducting database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Participating in test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Working closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Participating in peer reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, JMeter.
- Strong experience in postman, including collections, requests, and JavaScript-based tests.
- Knowledge of running postman collections using Newman (preferred).
- API testing experience, including different HTTP methods and request/response understanding.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Expertise in database testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
