Job Description: Apptad Technologies is urgently seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing, manual testing, and API testing. You will work with a diverse team of professionals and have the opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real impact.

- Perform automation testing, manual testing, and API testing to ensure the quality of software products.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and performance testing as required.
- Identify and report software defects, track issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Participate in the design and development of new automation frameworks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies in automation testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium.
- Strong coding skills in Java.
- Familiarity with Maven, TestNG/JUnit, and REST API automation.
- Experience with creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence, adaptability, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Technical Competencies: Must-Have:
- Proficiency in Maven beyond just dependency management.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
- Strong understanding of Java concepts.
- Expertise in Selenium.
- Knowledge of REST API automation.
- Ability to learn and create new automation frameworks.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
