- Utilize your 3+ years of API testing experience to lead and coordinate API testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of API protocols and technologies, including HTTP, JSON, XML, and REST, to ensure the accurate and thorough testing of APIs.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API testing, ensuring that all aspects of API functionality are thoroughly evaluated.
- Employ hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks, with proficiency in tools such as Postman.
- Manage and execute QA jobs using Jenkins, ensuring efficient and streamlined testing processes.
- Apply your basic SQL skills to validate and verify data integrity during API testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to identify and address defects and issues.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to document and track testing activities, defects, and test results.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in software development and test engineering.
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in API testing, with a strong grasp of API protocols and technologies, including HTTP, JSON, XML, and REST.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate API testing activities across different phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in developing detailed test plans and test cases specifically for API testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks, with expertise in tools like Postman.
- Ability to manage and execute QA jobs using Jenkins, contributing to efficient and automated testing processes.
- Basic SQL skills for data validation during API testing.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
