Greetings from Idexcel Technologies Pvt Ltd! We are currently seeking experienced API Automation Testing professionals to join our team. We invite you to participate in our walk-in interview on 15th July 2023, at 10 AM in Koramangala, Bangalore. If you have 5 to 10 years of experience in API Automation Testing and possess the required skills, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
As an API Automation Testing professional at Idexcel Technologies Pvt Ltd, your responsibilities will include:
- API Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of APIs to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability. Utilize your expertise in API testing tools such as RestAssured and Karate.
- Automation Framework: Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Create efficient and reusable test scripts for API testing.
- Test Strategy: Collaborate with the testing team to define the test strategy for API testing. Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, analyze test results, and document defects. Ensure that all test cases are executed and reported accurately within the scheduled timeline.
- Defect Management: Track and manage defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination throughout the testing process.
- Test Automation Improvement: Continuously enhance the test automation framework and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage of API testing.
- Test Reporting: Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, including test coverage, defect trends, and overall project quality status.
- Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in API testing. Share your knowledge and contribute to the growth of the testing team.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in API Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Extensive experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured and Karate.
- Solid understanding of Selenium for test automation.
- Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
