Job Description
- We are looking for a passionate QA tester with the extensive background in web application & mobile application testing.
Desired Skills
- Minimum 1 years of web & mobile application testing experience required.
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Deals well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of modern test methodologies, commonly used concepts, practices, and tools within the software-testing field are required.
- Experience in unit & performance testing is a must.
- Experience with Selenium is required.
- Experience with other testing tools like JMeter is required.
- Experience with GIT is preferred.
- Experience with SQL is required.
- Experience developing test frameworks and test cases using open source test frameworks is preferred.
- Proven experience in writing Shell, JavaScript and Batch scripts to automate/development tools.
- Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Responsibilities
- Work with web/mobile teams, developing test plans, test cases and automation scripts.
- Operate in an agile software delivery methodology focused on testing new features within an iteration and providing near immediate feedback to developers through test automation Perform load / performance testing where applicable Perform exploratory testing where necessary in addition to automation.
- Contribute to and help maintain the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security) on multiple platforms (web, iOS/Android).
- Effectively communicate complex and/or difficult information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
