Position: Test Engineer

About the job

Role/ Key Responsibilities

• Formulate software testing strategies
• Review business / software requirements /development documentation and provide inputs.
• Prepare test plans.
• Analyze test results and test metrics.
• Prepare test reports.
• Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc) to ensure the highest level of software quality.
• Participate in regular Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Work collaboratively with developers, Scrum Leaders, Product Owners to effectively support the test automation needs of the software and firmware.
• Create and enhance test configurations.
• Working with the Development team to capture and reuse Automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs Drivers, and other Development Test objects.
• Oversee non-functional testing and performance testing

Key Requirements

1. Preferred Technology skills : Java, JEE, Web technologies (Javascript,HTML5,CSS,GWT),Web Services/Rest API, Reports, BRMS and Oracle/DB2 database.
2. Software Estimation skills
3. Communication Presentation Skills for engaging stakeholders
4. Analysis and Consulting skills
5. Domain Knowledge for Corporate, SME MSME Banking ( Credit Assessment Monitoring ) preferable
