Essential Job Duties
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Supporting existing products/applications.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications·
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
- Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
- Grow engineering teams by interviewing and recruiting.
Other Job Duties
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.
Travel Requirements
- Travel 5-10%, including overnight travel, domestic and abroad (US and other delivery locations)
Required Education, Experience, Certifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MCA
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in building automated and distributed commercial web-scale systems
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Hands-on with Typescript, ES6, HTML5, SCSS, RxJS, Ag-grid, NodeJS, REST, webpack, Storybook.
- Hands-on with web development with Accessibility Standard (should be aware of all accessibility fundamentals – how to make the non-compliance page accessible)
- Hands-on with responsive web design
- Hands-on with Jest, Testing-library/angular, and Cypress for Unit testing
- Strong understanding of SOLID and DRY Principles for writing code and JS design patterns.
- Understanding of Micro Frontend Architecture.
- Experienced in writing Angular applications with a strong in-depth understanding of Angular Framework components.
- Experienced in writing and maintaining common components library using Angular Material and Angular CDK library.
- Good to have
- Experience with writing Micro Frontends using the Webpack Module Federation plugin.
- Exposure to trunk-based development for Continuous Integration and Delivery
- Exposure to Nx and mono repo tooling
- AWS technologies like Amplify, S3
- Exposure to Web API
- Experience with SCM (Bitbucket/GitHub) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkin/TeamCity and Octopus Deploy, SonarQube, Nexus Manager, Artifactory, MS Build)
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and question skills
- Proficient in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams·
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence will be an added advantage
