Responsibilities:

As a Software Testing (Manual) Engineer at HotelHub, you will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
  2. Create and execute manual test cases to verify software functionality and adherence to specified requirements.
  3. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  4. Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
  5. Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
  6. Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
  7. Collaborate with automation and performance testing teams as needed.
  8. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and actively seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  9. Adhere to agile processes and participate in daily stand-up meetings and other team activities.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
  2. Strong understanding of the agile development process.
  3. Knowledge of any bug tracking tool for defect tracking and management.
  4. Familiarity with any automation tool or performance testing tool is a plus.
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
