Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  2. Test Case Design: Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data that cover various aspects of software functionality.
  3. Test Execution: Execute test cases, perform functional, regression, and integration testing, and identify defects, issues, and discrepancies.
  4. Automation Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
  5. Defect Tracking: Document defects and issues found during testing, communicate them to the development team, and track their resolution.
  6. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
  7. Performance Testing: Participate in performance testing efforts to assess software scalability and responsiveness.
  8. Adherence to QA Standards: Follow established testing processes and best practices to ensure the highest quality of software.
  9. Reporting: Generate and maintain test reports, status reports, and other documentation to keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and results.
  10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging testing methodologies to enhance your testing skills.

Required Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. 1-4 Years of Experience: Proven experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
  2. Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  3. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java and the ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
  4. SQL Queries: Knowledge of SQL queries to interact with databases for test data setup and validation.
  5. Automation Testing Tools: Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
