Job Description

The job requires understanding and defining of the Safety Concept and Architecture, Software Safety requirements, defining and deploying safety processes and development of Safety software by following the ISO26262 software processes. Interaction with customers, architects and test/integration teams are required as part of the job. The job also involves working with the Software quality team for adherence of ISO26262 and ASPICE processes.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Software Architecture and design tools and languages (UML/SysML)
  • Knowledge and experience of ASPICE or equivalent Quality standards
  • Functional Safety related trainings/certifications
  • Experience in supporting customers/OEMs in functional safety and system safety concepts
  • Experience in functional safety audits

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, E&C, EE, Information Systems, or related field)

Job Responsibilities

  • 8 – 20 years of industry experience in embedded software, especially in the automotive domain
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in ISO26262 (Part 6 in specific)
  • Experience in functional safety architecture and requirements definition, defining and deploying safety processes, safety software development
  • Experience in Safety Analysis (FMEA, DFA tools)
  • Programming Languages: C/C++
  • Experience with complete SDLC and related processes
  • Experience with tools for static analysis, code coverage
  • Knowledge and experience of ASPICE /ISO26262 or equivalent Quality standards
  • Knowledge of various tools and methods related for functional safety/ISO26262 (Requirements Management, Static/dynamic analysis(Misra /Coverty-Synopsis) or Vector tools ,QCA/LDRA, Safety Analysis, Safety software design, implementation, and testing)
  • Knowledge and passion on Software Design and Programming
