As an SDET at Rizzle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Test Frameworks: Create and enhance test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, strategies, and test cases that align with project requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test cases and analyze results, identifying defects and issues, and reporting them for resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not introduce defects.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline for seamless testing and deployment.
- Defect Tracking: Document defects, track them through resolution, and verify fixes.
- Performance Testing: Participate in performance testing efforts to ensure software scalability and stability.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet and exceed quality standards and are ready for release.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive product quality.
Required Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Automation Expertise: Strong experience in test automation using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Test Frameworks: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
- Test Planning: Ability to create comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with project goals.
- CI/CD Integration: Knowledge of integrating test automation into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Defect Tracking: Experience in defect tracking and management using tools like JIRA.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
