Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing the Application Software and Firmware products as well as the extensions to the existing established STC products.
Perform manual and automated testing of all aspects of the STC products like function/component, system, performance, regression, and service.
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases.
Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability and trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
Perform all above duties in accordance with applicable ISO 9000 directives and company policy.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in testing the medium to large software applications in Instrumentation field.
Testing of the Embedded Instruments to prove that it is robust and reliable.
Able to analyze the requirements, create and execute the test specifications.
Execute all levels of testing (System, Regression, and sanity)
Use web-based software(s) to execute test cases, enter results, bugs, and improvement ideas.
Detect, report and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Experience of testing UI/UX or having experience of handling various analytical instruments in previous experience will help.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a true interest in problem solving.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or in a similar technical discipline

Experience:

5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing in Instrumentation field.
