Position: Senior Software Engineer QA – Performance Engineer

All About You

  • Candidates must be from a dedicated application performance engineer
  • Experience with performance/load tests tools mainly in Blaze-meter and rest being in JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner
  • Good working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • Good working knowledge of Java (preferred)/Spring Boot, REST
  • Good in writing performance report and recommendation
  • Production Performance Analysis and Tuning of microservices platforms.
  • Understand Network latencies and bandwidth dependencies around performance, caching and both front and backend optimization techniques.
  • Good understanding of load balancing, expiration headers, compression, CDNs, etc.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP sockets, TCP congestion.

Primary Skillset

  • Hands-on experience with JMeter/LoadRunner/Storm runner
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java or similar languages for performance test script development
  • Experience in setting up performance test processes from scratch
  • End-to-end performance testing experience which includes gathering NFRs, creating workload by coordinating with different stakeholders
  • Identifying performance Bottleneck problems in the application and recommendations to remediate bottlenecks
  • Experience in testing reports and batch jobs
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases

Secondary Skill Set

  • Good to have experience in cards or payment domain
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to Agile and SAFe methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and individual player
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
