Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering.
Strong Expertise in creating responsive UI’s using JavaScript, React JS, Node JS.
Expertise in Scrum and in a technical Agile environment (e.g., Build tools, Static/Dynamic code analysis, CI / CD pipelines such as Jenkins/TeamCity).
Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
Strong unit testing experience in React development environment.
Proficiency in containers at scale like GKE, Docker, Kubernetes.
Excellent logical reasoning, problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins and Nexus.
Can demonstrate an understanding of the concepts regarding computer programming. 
Experience from a banking domain. 
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Growing your capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develop the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework.  
Providing a specialised training or coaching in areas of expertise to others throughout the organisation. 
Delivering plans for a small element of change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager. 
Highlighting shortcomings and suggest improvements in the current IT Security processes, systems, and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline. 
Delivering prescribed outcomes for area of responsibility by working within established the knowledge management systems.
