Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases based on product specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and scope for both manual and automated testing.
Test Case Design and Execution:
Create and oversee the execution of comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
Ensure the execution of manual test cases to identify defects and maintain software quality.
Test Automation:
Spearhead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Drive the continuous improvement and expansion of test automation coverage.
Defect Management:
Take charge of reporting, tracking, and verifying defects using issue tracking systems.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the timely resolution of defects.
Regression Testing:
Oversee regression testing efforts to ensure that code changes do not introduce new issues.
Automate and maintain regression test suites whenever possible.
QA Process Establishment:
Establish, manage, and continuously improve QA processes within the organization.
Ensure consistent and efficient testing practices by documenting and implementing standard QA processes.
Team Management and Mentoring:
Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers working on different projects.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Automation Framework and Tool Identification:
Identify suitable automation frameworks and tools based on project requirements and technology stack.
Conduct proof of concept (POC) for selected automation tools and frameworks to validate their effectiveness.
Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers.
Provide valuable feedback and insights to improve product quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Senior QA Engineer role is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Software QA Engineer.
Extensive experience (3+ years) in API
Experienced in DB and data testing from a practical standpoint
Profound knowledge and expertise in testing both mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web applications
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Expertise in agile development methodologies.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with automation testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and unwavering attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
