Position: Senior QA Engineer Big Data

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Your Responsibilities

Help the team deliver new features with excellent quality
Define test plans, test criteria, and test cases required to validate functionality Develop
Run and build manual/automated test
Contribute to continuous improvements of testing function within the team
Follow the existing team practices within various technical and process-related areas
Keep up to date by exploring best practices, new technologies, tools, methodology, frameworks
Proactively identify and report risks about the product/data quality.

5+ years of experience in data/back-end testing
Have hands-on experience with Linux
Good knowledge of Java
Prepare test plans, develop test cases, and execute tests with a focus on coverage
Define test methodology, criteria, and test cases required to validate critical functionality
Perform manual verification of bugs and new features
Develop automated test cases in Java (or Scala)
Involve in end-to-end testing strategy

Good knowledge of Kubernetes will be helpful.
Good knowledge of Cucumber BDD will be helpful.
Hands-on experience with Vertica DB, Hadoop ecosystem, Spark SQL, and terabytes of data.
