Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the QA group as a part of the Engineering organization during ongoing development.
Design and implement an automated E2E regression framework, spanning across multiple web public and internal-facing applications.
Develop API automated testing suites and load/performance testing suites.
Provide insight and recommendations into automated testing methodologies and best practices, including environment set up and tools selection.
Ensure automated tests are fast, reliable and provide effective feedback to our team about regression issues
Implement automated solutions that integrate into the CI/CD pipelines
Strategize how automated testing will integrate into the SDLC sprint cadence across multiple initiatives/teams in an agile environment
Design and implement solutions to evaluate and improve quality of applications through integration and regression testing processes
Defining Quality Metrics, acceptance criteria, quality standards, and metrics for the current task/project
Defining Testing Strategies, ensuring all development tasks meet data quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.
Thinking “outside of the box” to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained to drive better regression testing across the products
Work closely with our Product Quality Analysts to create feature maps and critical path

Who You Are:

Hands on experience writing code with JavaScript
Expertise in creating functional automation scripts using JavaScript
Expertise with Cypress.IO (preferable), Playwright, Katalon, Test Cafe, Webdriver.IO, or similar
Expert in API testing and API test automation with Postman or similar tool
Experience with testing large, complex client facing web platforms and debugging, diagnosing, profiling, and troubleshooting complex issues using various debugging tools
Expert-level understanding of, and competency in, creating comprehensive performance test plans, test cases, and associated work products/strategies
Demonstrated strong familiarity with software quality assurance methodologies, software testing best practices, quality metrics, performance and automated testing tools
Hands on experience managing all phases of testing within an agile software development process
Deep understanding of Agile QA methodologies and deliverables.
In depth CI experience, preferably with Jenkins
Experience with application management tools and log management tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, NewRelic, etc).
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards
