About the job
What’s the role?
- In depth knowledge and hands-on experience to design and execute automated tests at all levels (System, Integration, Regression and UAT)
- Contribute to test planning, designing, and developing functional test cases in JIRA, reporting and recommendations.
- Hands-on experience in Test automation frameworks and script development with TestNG, Cucumber etc and tools like Selenium, Appium etc.
- Experience in creating maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitLab jobs. Pipeline orchestration/scheduling experience is good to have
- Detect, Analyze and Report software defects and inconsistencies
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Contributing to testing activities like Integration, System, User Acceptance Testing via test automation for assigned tools
- Test execution, reporting and recommendations. Identify and raise defects, suggest areas of improvement.
- Drafting testing documents, implementing standard testing procedures
- Contribute to design & maintenance of automation frameworks for all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression). Design and develop automation scripts with test automation tools like Selenium.
- Design and Execute batches of automation test scripts and suites. Maintain Test Plan and automation testing documentations
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree (3/4 years – professional college: Technical / Engineering streams) with major/minor in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/ Engineering or related science/technology field
- 4+ Years of experience in manual testing and defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Zypher etc.
- 4+ Years of experience in automation testing and experience in one or more test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress etc.
- Ability to solve complex test automation tasks beyond standard capabilities of test automation tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as, Java, Python or JavaScript.
- Hands on experience with IDE’s like Eclipse, IntelliJ etc, and Maven is required
- Demonstrable experience in one or more frameworks like Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, POM, Robot etc
- Desired testing certifications viz. ISTQB, CSTE, CP-SAT, CP-MAT etc
- Proficient Knowledge of testing related metrics and standard practices
