Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Job Description

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a backend tester.
Good exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Knowledge of Cloud Native Technologies.
Hands-on experience with Unix or Linux, including commands and scripting.
Hands-on experience or knowledge of Python.
Database knowledge and experience with SQL.

Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
Work closely with software engineers on core projects to ensure that quality is integrated into the development process.
Support clients by addressing reported issues and assisting with their queries.
Conduct usability testing to assess total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Effectively communicate testing activities and findings through both oral and written channels.
Independently manage and control daily test activities.
Collaborate with the test lead/Manager to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Apply knowledge and experience of quality management methods, tools, and technology to ensure defect-free application software that meets the needs of clients and business partners.
Possess exposure and experience in other Automation tools like UFT, Quality Center / Jira, and SoapUI Tools (preferred).
Demonstrate effective communication skills.
