Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of our mobile application and web platform to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to create detailed test plans and strategies that align with project goals and requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, identify and document bugs, and communicate issues to the development team using established tools and processes.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes, leveraging tools such as Appium or Selenium.
- Regression Testing: Perform regular regression tests to validate the stability and integrity of the software after code changes or updates.
- User Acceptance Testing: Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to conduct user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and ensure product quality meets user expectations.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts.
- Bug Tracking: Track and manage bugs using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and proper communication with the development team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to enhance the quality assurance process within the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, proper alignment, and effective collaboration throughout the testing and development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on software testing and quality assurance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web platforms. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium) is highly desirable.
- Mobile Testing: Familiarity with mobile testing methodologies, including device testing, compatibility testing, and performance testing.
- Web Testing: Experience with web testing techniques, including browser compatibility testing, usability testing, and responsive design testing.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously identify and document software defects.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, collaborate with team members, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
