About the job

As a Digital Quality Assurance engineer, you will ensure the testing of digital e-2-e solutions, individual products, and entire programs. Reporting to QA Lead, you will work closely with our digital product owners, delivery managers and each product development teams ensure test cases and procedures documented / executed and report the outcomes to the scrum team.
The goal of the QA team is to ensure Weir delivers high quality product within a practical scope.
As QA processes and procedures are mature, you will be required to develop automation testing solution to help accelerate testing to shorten product delivery times.

Assist in test plans and quality standards for each product development programs, e.g., test schedules and resources, test environments, QA metrics (including security), unit testing, system/product integration testing, UAT and field trials
Write test scenarios, test cases; test data gathering, and management based on product owner’s defined epics and user stories for each release.
Delivering of quality training manual working with testing and development teams
Working closely with the product owners to define the delivery goals from quality perspective, ensure what is capable to deliver and meet expectations
Driving and promote quality throughout the entire development lifecycle, from development to product release and support.
Engage with Minerals Digital product owners, delivery managers, development and business enablement teams ensure product delivery and launch matches the defined quality standard
Ensure evolution and continuous improvement of quality standards, guidelines, and guardrails that solutions and platforms are compliant

Providing professional expertise within the area of QA and testing
Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the scrum teams
Working seamlessly with the development team and testing resources to ensure that the unit and user testing are done as required
Keeping the project teams aware of test progress activities from both technical and timing perspective
