Job Description

Qualification and Skills

5+ years of relevant work experience
Solid understanding of QA processes, goals and overall SDLC
Familiar with some issue-tracking (Jira/Clickup/…) and source control tooling (Github/Bitbucket/…)
Understanding of Scrum framework
Strong skills in multi-tier architecture and digital technologies
Experienced and comfortable to use the following technologies: Java, Selenium, JMeter or another load testing tool, GIT
Knowledgeable about REST API concepts
General knowledge of the modern web application technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, innovative thinker able to lead and develop new features
Excellent organizational and management skills
Team player with a proactive approach
Fluent in verbal and written English. Able to clearly communicate technical requirements and write documentation.
Excellent knowledge development and knowledge sharing skills
Automate and remove repetitive and manual tasks because inefficiency is one of your least favourite things
Demonstrated proficiency with Java or JavaScript and web driver libraries, utilizing standard patterns to develop complex methods with – measurable outcomes
Experience working for a global employer would be a plus
Able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days working in the Mumbai office in Goregaon
Knowledge and interest in cricket will be a bonus for this role

Define and implement a test automation tooling strategy to increase development efficiency and discover product issues
Develop highly efficient and effective test framework components, using established software engineering best practices and patterns
Work with the QA team to identify potential areas for automation and deliver test automation solutions
Provide guidance and mentoring to team members to improve overall testing efficiency and quality
Work together with QA Automation Engineers to ensure the best practices are applied
Help in developing automatic tests for functional and non-functional requirements, such as REST API testing, Web App UI testing, Load testing etc.
Work on web and native application end-to-end testing
Do an evaluation of the scope of work and prepare test effort estimation
Test environment management, ability to define requirements for environments, ability to propose improvements
