Job Description
Qualification and Skills
- BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer-Science/Electronics
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience beyond college, or masters and 5+ or PhD+2
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Works with no supervision; initiates and drives project-related activities
- Expert knowledge of basic s/w design tools, expert knowledge of advanced design tools
- Design decisions set the direction for the project and are essential to the success of the project
- Capable of defining, evaluating, and selecting key architectural and technology tradeoffs
- Recognized for technical expertise in object oriented S/W design

Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
