Position: Mobile Automation Engineer
Location: Pan India

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and design appropriate test scenarios.
  • Develop and execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of mobile applications.
  • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues encountered during the automation process.
  • Work closely with the QA team to identify and document test requirements and test cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality mobile applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of overall experience in software testing.
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Appium automation.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Selenium Java automation.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile application testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Appium and Selenium WebDriver using Java.
  • Experience in designing and implementing mobile test automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their respective testing environments.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
