Position: MIL Test Engineer

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Simulink/Stateflow Modeling: Utilize your expertise in Simulink/Stateflow modeling to develop and test software models based on project requirements.
  • Scripting and Integration: Use scripting and integration skills to ensure seamless integration of software components and functionality.
  • Test Case Development: Understand project requirements, develop models, and generate test cases based on the models.
  • ECU Development: Hands-on experience in developing ECUs such as ABS, BCM, PSCM, Power Train, ADAS, SCCM, APIM, etc.
  • Unit Testing: Perform unit testing of MIL/SIL software, design test plans, develop test scripts, execute tests, and provide comprehensive reports.
  • Version Control and Issue Tracking: Experience in working with tools like GitHub and JIRA for version control and issue tracking.
  • Continuous Integration: Familiarity with Continuous Integration methodologies and tools to ensure efficient software development and testing processes.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues, proposing effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • ISO26262 Compliance: Exposure to ISO26262 processes and standards for automotive functional safety.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a MIL Test Engineer, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Simulink/Stateflow modeling skills, scripting, integration, and testing expertise with an AUTOSAR background.
  • Unit Testing: Experience in unit testing MIL/SIL software, test plan design, test script development, execution, and reporting.
  • Version Control and Issue Tracking Tools: Proficiency in using GitHub and JIRA for version control and issue tracking.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • ISO26262 Compliance: Familiarity with ISO26262 processes and standards for automotive functional safety is a plus.
  • Automotive Embedded Programming: Experience in automotive embedded programming and manual coding is desirable.
  • MATLAB Toolboxes: Exposure to advanced MATLAB toolboxes study/customization for method development studies is an advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
