Position: Manual Testing, Test Automation, Functional Testing

Location: Hyderabad

We are currently seeking talented professionals for a contract-to-hire position with expertise in manual testing, test automation, and functional testing. Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing activities including test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functional requirements and ensure proper coverage.
3. Conduct functional testing to verify that software applications meet specified requirements and user expectations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights on testing strategies.
5. Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
6. Design and develop test automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
7. Execute and maintain automated test suites, perform regression testing, and analyze test results to ensure the stability and performance of software applications.
8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the field of software testing.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 6 years of overall experience in the IT industry.
2. Relevant experience of at least 4 years in manual testing, test automation, and functional testing.
3. Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking processes.
4. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
5. Solid understanding of functional testing concepts and experience in executing functional test cases.
6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
