Position: Software Tester with Health Insurance Domain

Location: Pune (Work from Office)

Designation: Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester with Health Insurance domain experience, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of testing activities throughout the software development life-cycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Testing Strategy and Test Planning: Participate in the entire Functional Testing Life-cycle and effectively implement testing strategies. Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
  • Health Insurance Domain Expertise: Possess strong knowledge and experience in the Health Insurance domain, specifically in claims and underwriting modules. Experience with Indian clients in the health insurance domain is preferred.
  • Insurance Domain Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in health insurance. Familiarity with different lines of business such as Term, Endowment, and Health Insurance is essential.
  • Team Management and Client Interaction: Exhibit strong team management skills and the ability to work as a front-end representative with clients. Handle client interactions effectively while also contributing as an individual contributor within the team.
  • Project Reporting: Generate daily and monthly reports and presentations related to the project. Deliver reports to various levels of management, including middle and higher management.
  • Automation Framework: Have experience in automation framework implementation. Prior work on automation projects will be considered an added advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Impact Analysis: Perform impact analysis to identify potential risks and challenges during the testing process. Use logical thinking to propose solutions and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience as a Software Tester with a focus on Health Insurance domain.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in claims and underwriting modules within the Health Insurance domain, preferably with Indian clients.
  • In-depth understanding of various lines of business in the insurance industry, including Term, Endowment, and Health Insurance.
  • Proven experience in implementing testing strategies and developing comprehensive test plans.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and previous involvement in automation projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present reports and interact with clients.
  • Strong team management skills while also being an effective individual contributor.
  • Analytical and logical thinking abilities to perform impact analysis and propose effective solutions.
