Position :Manual Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Draup, a leading data intelligence company, is currently seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with fresher to 3 years of experience in manual testing to work in a fast-paced, CI/CD environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
- Apply QA methodology and follow agile product management methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Test software applications in a fast-moving CI/CD environment, providing valuable feedback on the product quality.
- Develop and execute well-defined Test Strategies for various types of Functional, Exploratory, and Regression testing initiatives.
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases to accurately capture the testing scope and requirements.
- Conduct thorough manual testing, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly evaluated and any defects are identified and reported.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and investigate reported issues, providing detailed information for debugging and resolution.
- Participate in product and feature reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve the overall quality of the software.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of manual testing.
Requirements:
- Fresher to 3 years of experience in manual testing or related roles.
- Strong experience in project management and understanding of QA methodology.
- Familiarity with agile product management methodologies and ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Comfortable with testing in a very fast-moving CI/CD environment.
- Proven experience in creating well-defined Test Strategies for various types of Functional, Exploratory, and Regression testing initiatives.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
