About the job
The manual tester responsibilities include: Analyzing the technical characteristics of equipment systems. Evaluating written code to ensure it meets project specifications. Developing quality assurance strategies and organizing phased testing with QA engineers.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of testing concepts and methodologies.
- Have good knowledge in the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan.
- Detect bugs and classify them based on severity, priority.
- Report defects effectively with excellent skills in defect reporting.
- Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing.
- Prepare traceability matrix to map business requirements with test cases.
- Interact with teams for better understanding of functional requirements for developing quality test cases.
- Design and execute test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled.
- Create, modify, and enhance both manual test cases and test scripts created in Selenium Web Driver.
- Execute test scripts on Firefox and Chrome browsers.
- Have good experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver or any automation testing tool along with TestNG Framework.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making & problem solving skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- Preferred to have testing experience in E-Commerce based Applications.
- Should have excellent understanding of testing methodology for Rest API, SOAP Based Web Service and Integration testing.
- Proficient in testing concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan.
- Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing.
- Proficient in test automation using Selenium Webdriver with JAVA.
- Experience in creating, modifying, and enhancing both manual test cases and test scripts created in Selenium Web Driver.
- Experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver with TestNG Framework.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making & problem solving skills.
