Salary: INR 1,25,000 / month (based on experience)

Expected Notice Period: 2 to 4 Weeks

Shift: IST Full Shift (10:30 AM to 7:30 PM IST)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automation test cases for assigned changes
• Building up environments independently to test assigned work.
• Executing manual and automation tests.
• Reporting the result
• Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports.
• Investigate customer problems
• Engage and participate on an Agile team of software developers
• Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments. Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle
• Strive to deploy all products and updates on time
• Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments
• Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same
• Help junior team members grow and develop their skills
• Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively

This Role Requires:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT, preferably in a corporate setting and experience in testing commercial applications
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or relevant field; master’s degree is a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies
• Experience working with SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Must have test experience on Linux and UNIX environments
• Must have experience and knowledge of JavaScript
• Must have experience in test Automation frameworks like Selenium , Cypress.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java is an added advantage
• Experience is testing SaaS based cloud applications hosted at Amazon AWS
• Experience creating test strategies that ensure comprehensive, pragmatic, and scalable testing approaches
• Experience designing and debugging tests that measure performance and functionality under scale and load
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences
• Familiarity with Agile, continuous integration products like Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines a plus
