Position: Sr. Test Engineer / Test Lead

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

About the job

You will participate in the full lifecycle of the test environment, from Test specifications to design, coding, and execution of the test cases as well as maintaining the needed software and documentation.
Participate in the active development of test infrastructure.
Write and document firmware qualification test cases.
Participate in test execution and subsequent automation thereof.
Help manage test environments.
Analyse/triage test results and in case, work closely with developers to help resolve issues.

Experience in testing embedded products for 3+ Years
Experience with working on Windows/Linux OS-based systems.
Experience in testing end-to-end systems, including embedded devices, IOT gateway to server integrations over REST or other mechanisms
Strong networking stack knowledge
Knowledge of tools and technologies like Jenkins, GIT, and JIRA.
Design, implement, and maintain test scripts with good quality in a Python-based automated test framework.
Excellent scripting and programming skills in shell and Python.
Testing/QA/Developer background.
Analytical skills for debugging system issues.
Self-starter who is willing and interested in learning in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
Strong in object-oriented programming concepts.
Strong in pytest
