Job Summary
The Senior Software Quality Analyst reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager and will help our team accelerate our abilities to deliver high quality software & services by using their creativity, detailed-oriented nature, and technical skillset.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases for various levels of different projects
- Define optimal test scopes
- Create and manage bugs throughout the bug lifecycle
- Work with product owners & development team members to deliver the highest quality software & services for our customers
- Review project requirements to identify additional use cases and dependencies
- Develop tools, scripts, platforms, documentation or whatever is needed to make the job easier
- Identify areas of improvement both for our products & development processes
- Triage reported production issues
- Report testing status, milestones and issue trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality engineer or software development engineer in testing environment
- Minimum of 5 years testing full stack web-based applications
- Strong experience trouble shooting web applications (i.e. LAMP, NodeJS, Java, etc.)
- Strong experience writing complex SQL queries (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience working in an AWS infrastructure and/or on Linux
- Experience maintaining CI/CD/CT environments
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development organization
- Experience with load or performance testing (i.e. LoadRunner, LocustIO, Jmeter, etc)
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android strongly desired
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- A strong desire to learn, grow and teach others
