Job Summary

The Senior Software Quality Analyst reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager and will help our team accelerate our abilities to deliver high quality software & services by using their creativity, detailed-oriented nature, and technical skillset.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases for various levels of different projects
  • Define optimal test scopes
  • Create and manage bugs throughout the bug lifecycle
  • Work with product owners & development team members to deliver the highest quality software & services for our customers
  • Review project requirements to identify additional use cases and dependencies
  • Develop tools, scripts, platforms, documentation or whatever is needed to make the job easier
  • Identify areas of improvement both for our products & development processes
  • Triage reported production issues
  • Report testing status, milestones and issue trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality engineer or software development engineer in testing environment
  • Minimum of 5 years testing full stack web-based applications
  • Strong experience trouble shooting web applications (i.e. LAMP, NodeJS, Java, etc.)
  • Strong experience writing complex SQL queries (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Experience working in an AWS infrastructure and/or on Linux
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD/CT environments
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development organization
  • Experience with load or performance testing (i.e. LoadRunner, LocustIO, Jmeter, etc)
  • Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android strongly desired
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • A strong desire to learn, grow and teach others
