Senior Software Test Automation Engineer | Wolters Kluwer Pune

Basic Function

You will perform QA automation tasks, and manual testing for the TAA Service Excellence Support Ecosystem, which includes the support.cch.com site, Service Cloud, Salesforce Communities, SFS Support sites, ADO, GIT, Jenkins, TestRail & SPLUNK. Your primary focus will be the .NET technology stack.

What you will do:

  • Contribute in the design and implementation of the automation test framework
  • Be involved in automation testing of Web Services API and web based applications
  • Be involved in functional automation through UI
  • Responsible for the TestRail Case Management Platform
  • Understanding test requirements and come up with test scenarios
  • Execute functional, application, regression, ad-hoc, and integration tests; including both positive and negative scenarios
  • Write automation code, Debug, and execute automated test suites
  • Develop, implement, and execute test plans
  • Participate in regular maintenance of automated test suites
  • Participate in regression testing following a release
  • Contribute in ad-hoc and exploratory manual testing
  • Reduce the reliance on manual testing
  • Be working in an agile model
  • Responsible for Done definition of User Stories at the end of every sprint
  • Responsible for contributing in automation POCs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ OTHER SPECS:

  • 6-9 years’ recent hands-on experience in Functional Test Automation
  • At least 4 year hands-on experience on Service Cloud testing
  • Experience with any Salesforce application is a plus
  • Experience with the TestRail case management tool is a plus
  • Proven experience in QA automation (C#, Selenium)
  • Performance Testing Experience using JMETER or other similar tools
  • Experience of API testing using SOAPUI/Postman
  • ‘Test to break” mentality
  • Experience with Visual Studio Test Professional and Microsoft Test Manager
  • Familiar with Microsoft C#/ASP.NET/SQL Server technology stack
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Angular and JavaScript
  • Experience with SOAP/REST APIs
  • Engineering or graduate degree in Computer Science
  • Ability to analyze complex issues
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Security testing is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized and team player. Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback from mentor(s) and management.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended schedule as required to meet all project deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions
  • Strong client-service orientation
