Description
Must-Have Skills:
Hands-on experience in scripting, executing, analyzing, and reporting tests using one or more tools such as:
o LoadRunner
o Jmeter
o LoadNinja
o WebLoad
o Silk Performer
o SmartMeter
- Good knowledge of at least two performance testing tools.
- Experience in comparative analysis and selection of tools considering topics such as overall capability, ability to meet an immediate need, ability to meet likely future needs, ease of deployment/hosting options, cost, speed to upskill a team, the comfort of recruiting with the skill from the open market, etc.
- Perform performance testing like Load Testing, Endurance Testing, Volume Testing, Scalability Testing, Spike Testing, and Stress Testing.
- Gather performance requirements using templates, logs, and monitoring tools.
- Create performance test data using automation or data creation tools.
- Analyse performance test results, collaborate with technical teams to resolve bottlenecks, and report the summarised status.
- Apply system thinking to drive E2E bottleneck resolutions using fact-based analysis.
- Know application architecture and technologies, including Web, API, Micro Services, Web Services, etc.
- Must know load scripting protocols in Web-HTTP/HTML & Web Services.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Implement performance testing in the pipeline using Azure DevOps or an equivalent tool.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
- Good knowledge on the Server side like threads, CPU and Memory
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address queries and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the changing needs
Good to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of emerging DevOps methods and tools, such as agile/scrum, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
- Experience working with various AWS or Azur DevOps.
