Roles and Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML
- Experience in API testing and webservices testing using tools like SoapUI or Postman
- Good understanding of Get, Post, Put, Patch, Delete and other methods
- Good understanding of http status code.
- Good hands-on experience in writing database queries
- Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release.
- Execute and troubleshoot automated functional, API, and end-to-end tests.
- Build and create automated tests for both UI and Restful Services.
- Coordinate regression, system, integration, and API web services testing with Product Engineering and engineering team
- Design and maintain automation framework
