About the job
For our Pune office, we are looking for an Automotive Software Test Engineer to join a small team of Experts to support our broad activities related to the Embedded and Automotive Software Development and Integration for our international customer.
Review Customer Requirements, SW design documents
Handle various SW test activities for automated testing (Functional, Integration, Performance etc.)
Provide and maintain SW Test Plans, Test Specifications and Test Reports
Execute manual and automated tests
Investigate failure reasons and manage defects
Communicate test results with Customers
Implement and contribute to test strategies (roadmap, tools, framework, methodologies) across project teams
Ensure automated test scripts, frameworks, training and related documentation is reviewed and up to date
Synchronize with appropriate stakeholders on test status and progress
2+ Experience with unit testing or SW integration testing
Analyze software requirements and develop software test specifications
Design and implementation of automated test scripts using worldwide automotive recognized tooling, Unit test case definitions (Functional, Compatibility, Reliability, Performance)
Test executions pertaining to the test type (white box and black box) for Functional Safety and/or Cyber Security related requirements. E.g., w.r.t ASIL Level (fault injection, resource usage, timing tests etc.)
