Job Description

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Software Test Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• 14+ Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
• Experience with Java or Java script or Python scripting language.
• Experties in setting up and maintaining system level test enviornment.
• Experties in Hardware-Software system integration testing.
• Experties with system level test Automation using selenium & TestNG .
• Experience with creating and defining test plans and test cases for embedded and application software for real time controls at system level.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on the requirements.
• Identify test scenarios and define appropriate test data sets.
• Design and implement effective test strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing efforts based on potential impact.
• Test Execution and Defect Management:
• Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools:
• Identify, isolate, and track defects in the software products.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve overall software quality.
• Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to the development team.
