Qualification and Skills

• Extensive experience (8+ years) working with the Security (Network Security and Cyber Security) platform, including architecture design, implementation and upgrades.
• Background in networking and/or security. Prior leadership experience in B2B/Enterprise product management at large organizations or innovative start-ups.
• Strong go to market and business analysis skills.
• Inherent passion for cybersecurity and solving problems.
• Drive to design new, innovative, and disruptive solutions.
• Strong desire to take ownership of new technology products and their full life cycle.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Understanding of the Cyber Security Domain
• Proven experience in engineering and cloud architecture design.
• Experience & understanding of AWS and deploying application locally as well as on AWS
• Proficiency with cloud networking models and connectivity, network security, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Working experience with customers, consulting, team lead, configuring and fixing network infrastructure security products/SIEM such as Firewalls, IDS, Web Proxies, ZScaler, Crowdstrike, QRadar, BAS tools, MS 365 Defender, Palo XSOAR, Anomali.
• Experience of building security reference architecture for pure/hybrid cloud scenarios
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and deploying development CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, python
• Proficient working in Linux
• Technical leadership – Working across multiple teams to develop a technical solution.
• Software engineering – Developing platform capabilities as well as integrations.
• Create Architecture blueprints, drive tools RFP/RFI
• Drive tools Strategy and share quarterly view of legacy/Strategic tools result into costs benefits or improvements pertaining to better user experience.
• Involved into Cyber POC/POV; deliver outcomes and data mapping to convert into engineering requirements.
• Research and Innovation – Looking for innovative solutions to problems with the ability to react quickly and adapt to support them
• Mentor – Provide mentoring to more junior members of the team
• Platforms – Linux, Elastic, Kafka, Nifi, Docker, QLik
• Security – All in the context of security implementation and use cases

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business roadmap and marry them with market trends and work with the business to translate them into technical solutions leveraging the Security platform.
• Lead the design and architecture of Security solutions during POV, ensuring scalability,performance, security, and adherence to industry best practices across solution patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers and administrators, guiding them in solution development, configuration, and customization.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality control measures are in place to maintain high standards of Security development.
• Stay up to date with the latest Security features, functionalities, and industry trends, and apply them to enhance existing solutions and propose new innovative solutions.
• Participate in solution demonstrations and workshops with clients to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the Security platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, network, and security, to ensure the successful integration of Security with other enterprise systems.
• Drive the adoption of Security best practices and standards across the organization, providing guidance on governance, configuration management, and release management processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Security, keeping abreast of the latest developments, certifications, and training opportunities to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.
