Job Description

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
At least 10-12 years of relevant test automation experience
Must have Advanced / Expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
Ability and demonstrated experience in managing large test automation engagements, building automation strategy at scale, creating long-term automation goals, implementing best practices, and calculating ROI
Possess in-depth knowledge on automation tools for Web (Selenium, UFT, etc..) and API (SOAP UI, Postman, etc..), automation frameworks, Continuous Testing and Integration and infrastructure for automation
In-depth knowledge of agile and DevOps approaches and concepts
Sound knowledge on DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
Hands-on experience with integrating automation suites with any available integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Spinnaker, etc.)
Non-functional testing knowledge and ability to integrate it into an automation solution
Expert at defining and constructing general automation frameworks for web and desktop applications
An expert with expertise on two or more of the tools like: – Selenium, API automation (SOAP / REST) using Java, SOAPUI with Groovy, UFT, POSTMAN, Lean FT, Database Testing using SQL, Java and JDBC, Python and PyTest
Experience with non- GUI based testing and/or testing web services (Web API)
Good foundation and practical experience with XML-based system interfaces and XML based tools are preferred.

Provide leadership and guidance on automation strategy, tooling and improvements across teams globally
Serving as an expert in creating and implementing standard Automation Frameworks in accordance with industry best practices
Build automation strategy with automation tools for Web and API, automation frameworks, Continuous Testing and Integration and infrastructure for automation
Provide end to end delivery support to testing teams
Review and implement best-fit solutions and tooling for test automation and continuous testing
Lead initiatives for QA transformation and Continuous improvement
Integrate manual and automated test effort
Design, implement and monitor the testing and automation effort using an effective dashboard
Work along with DevOps team and establish continuous testing across the enterprise
Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle
Participate in the development and support of the testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously
Performs in depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers solutions to the development team to resolve the problem. Work closely with developers and/or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues
